Training's over and Im back

Okay, Trainings over and time to be blogging again.

Actually I just dont know where to start so please bare with me. I wont want to know the bads of the past 2 months but I sure love the goodies of it.

Training

Ive learnt alot from the kitchen crew and chefs in Elcerdo, ive experienced the busy hours of a restaurant that has one of the biggest crowd ever in KL summing up to 300-350 pax ala carte on weekends.

Its all work till you drop, the orders drag across 3 or 4 clip holders, its hell, but there's still no problems in sending out the dishes quick enough.

There are alot of different things to see, alot of items ive never come across, alot of dishes and cooking styles ive never knew about so even though it was just a short period of 2 months, it was more than worth it.

Relationship

Even though we just saw each other in the whole 2 months for just 3 times? I feel that it somehow brought us closer in a way, and it did teach us how to appreciate our relationship more.

I think throughout the 2 months, we struggled at the start, but it only went easier along the way, and lastly, trainings over and we are back united with each other ^^, even though she's in Seremban, at least its only 1 hour not 4 hours =p.

Id say we grew stronger by the day even though being apart, and those 3 times, are worth the equal lenght of 2 months of being not seperated.

Myself

I think ive manage to pull myself back together fully, even though I already did few months ago, but Im sure that this is what I want, I know what I want to achieve, I know what Im heading for now, and Im preparing myself for it.

Im glad that everything worked out pretty well, and hope for the best in the coming times =D

Melaka Part 2

Unsatisfied with our first Melaka trip during the term, we ventured to the land of historical interests once again and this time a 2 day1 night trip.

Stayed over at Seng Meng's house during the trip and credits goes to his parents for allowing 4 of us to bunk in, also thanks to the everlasting supply of food which we couldnt finish @@, but it was really good seriously. Thanks alot! =D

So starting off, originally the plan was only for 1 car to go, which comprises of randall, ti meng, lin and myself, but seen cheow and co decided to come along last minute, which also made us late by few hours. *hint hint*

We were supposed to leave at 10, but ended up leaving at 12 which caused a slight but harmless delay, after all, a few hours really doesnt make a difference if ur staying the night.

The trip took around 1 hour plus, because we had to stop for a while to let Randall's car to cool down. He exceeded the speed limit of the car itself which is set at 163 by going 180. Awesome speed, but didnt manage to keep it up until we reached our destination hahaha..

Reached Melaka around 2 If im not mistaken, having some delays stated above. First stop, chicken rice ball round 2! This time it was actually nicer, maybe because it was after the lunch rush hour already.

Same shop, Same dish, Different taste.

After eating, durian cendol, but didnt eat at this hour, didnt have the appetite for it. Others ate it though.

After cendol, headed to seng meng's house to pick him up, and headed to his family farm to pick fruits. wo0t.

After that, went to another farm, got bitten by freaking alot of mozzies, came back with a basket of fruits and went back to freshen up before having dinner. By that time it was already close to 6 or 7.

Satay celup for dinner, though being my first time eating it, I didnt kinda find anything special about it, maybe its just me.

But the Q for it was freaking long and the restaurant was filled with people. Fortunately, we managed to get a table within minutes

Basically that sums up dinner, sort of, later on went to more food around the end of Jonker Street, Seen Cheow was still hungry. soooo...noodles for him.

Went back home a while to grab some durian, and went out to find accomodation for Dai Lou and all, and managed to find a decent place at only rm90/ night. Took some beers from Seng Meng's house, spent the night chor dai di-ing and abit of booze. Went back around 1 + and sleep!

Next morning woke up at 11 left around 12, jonker street time. Had brunch at history cafe, or what was it called.

The food was pretty nice, kinda liked it. Went for cendol, yet AGAIN. Cant remember how many times edi.

But this time, we became small kids for a while by playing with the thingy.

Once everyone had their share of cendol, left the place, dai lou and co went back, and we proceeded to watch transformers at 4.15

Wo0t Awesome show, a must watch.

Okay I lazy edi. Went back Seng Meng's house for vegetarian yee sang, damn nice. thanks auntie!!

Had Ikan bakar later on for dinner, but wasnt very good anyhow, just so-so. All Randall's fault, every good shop close when he comes with his car.

I know I have been lazy, hehehe..but anyhow Ill just slowly update you guys lar.

Term 4 has ended, and Ill be starting my training in Elcerdo soon enough. (which is tomoro actually)

Alot of things had been done during my 1 week holiday and today will be the last day. Its also the reason why Im lazy to update, because ive been going out like as though home isnt home anymore.

But it was all worth it, every single moment of it, all the effort and time, really paid off.

Ill start with a summary of term 4.

I started term 4 pretty reluctantly, knowing that I had a little problem getting myself up to be motivated again. I had personal problems and pretty much the main reason that blasted me down under for the first few weeks.

I started to gain back my momentum after a few weeks of emo-ing. I was pretty much down and a loner, but I started to join back the crowd with others after a while, and I thank you guys for giving me a chance, even though it may seem small or big to some, a chance is still a chance. I appreciate it alot.

Things changed alot for me. Ive learnt to be more dependant on myself, Ive manage to pick up from where I left my happiness, I managed to catch up and set my priorities on what needs to be done and what has to be chucked away. I realized that, regardless of the time, I knew I had to move on, I knew I had to make the initiative, or fail terribly in the coming weeks.

Throughout the busy days of term 4, Having 11 subjects and almost 20 assignments, it was hell, but we managed to pull it off and as well as having being able to prepare for exam considerably providing that it was all "ala minute" work. There were ups and downs here and there, but hey, that's the way life is, I guess I can do no other than to face the fact and continue with what is more important.

Things started to pick up its pace by mid term. It went haywire where alot of assignments were given to us and to be completed in such a short dateline, we managed, but we certainly went through shitty experiences and really really last minute work. Even up to 20 minutes before submission dateline. *Hint Hint* Ngap =p.

Putting that aside, term 4 was not only about studies, it was about having fun, going out for meals, going out for games, movies, Melaka, this that this that, I cant even recall on how many trips already, but it was fun and is probably because of that, it makes us who we are known as.

Coming to an end of the term, I realised that I finally found her. That one person who made my heart flutter again. That one person whom I am willing to put all my efforts into, that one person whom Id sacrifice my time for, that one person who puts a smile on my face everytime when Im with her and you know who you are =)

Sigh, Im missing you already.

Next : Melaka Trip.

First of all....my new toy~~~

Compared to my desktop...it's really small.

As a good granddaughter, I'm down to Tangkak, Johor from Monday til Friday to perform my duty to take care of my grandma before flying off to Aus. Nothing much to post about that beside that i get to taste few of the local's delight - mee rojak, stir fried sweet carrot cake and stir fried prawn noodle. It is the durian season down at Tangkak as well, so apart from all the fruits brought down by my uncle, the whole of the freezer and refrigirator is full with boxes of durians @@ Ughh...smelling of it can alse makes me feel muak =/

After visiting grandma and few other relatives in Johor, i head to KL to visit my beloved friends~
Guys i fight to go kl le...due to the first domestic transfer of H1N1 flu. Bodo flu almost spoilt all my schedule.

The day started with a movie with baby, sherry dear and papa jon. Monster vs alien, my 2nd 3D movie. I still dont like 3D movies due to the spec. It just keep sliding down my nose~
And talking about movie....I WANT TO WATCH TRASNFORMER 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!! T_T

Later on, we headed to sunway for dinner at Zanmai. Sherry's favorite~

Had to become a commis today for a few seniors. Basically its about restaurant management, whereby its split into 4 parts.

We await thy command!

1. Training.

2. Sales and negotiation.

3. Evaluation.

4. Techniques.

Training involves the trainer ( senior ) to train us, commis, one on one based on the topic or question given.

Sales and negotiation involves the senior and jury, try to sell something about an event or buffet thingy.

Evaluation is whereby Commis do Trainer Evaluate thing. Self explainatory.

Techniques is where by the senior performs a certain required task and solo. We watch only wan.

Its a good learning process, but however it was pretty dry..or should I say VERY dry. I wan crack jokes with the seniors also cannot..Sien @@. Got pretty bored after going around for a few sessions.

One of the senior, he was quite good.

I didnt bother to snap pretty much pictures because it was sooooooooo dry, so I just snapped a few while I could. Pretty much I was just running around helping to be a "good" commis and to learn some new stuff.

Came to my final training session I got quite lazy, opening white wine. Ice bucket also I never take, hantam only~

However I did manage to see some nice fruit presentations, I likey.

Pretty much that was all, I know the final exam stress was there, until one of my seniors actually didnt read the question properly, whereby he needed to plate 2 plates but he plate only 1. So marks gone there, sad sad.

As promise, here's the update for my first (their second) Penang Food Hunting tour.
We both family - mine and neighbour - headed into Penang island separately, thus lunch is not counted in the tour.

5pm - Karipap and roti jala with curry chicken

Suppose to be our first stop, but too bad cause it's a PH and its a weekend, so that fella is taking a break too! Yes this fella sells on the spot made karipap, with chicken, sardin, potato filling to choose from, and wadek~ A kind of indian deep fried cake made of dhall, onion, dried red chili and some indian herbs and spices. Not many people appreciates that though. Nvm...less ppl to fight for it with me. =p

5.30pm - Penang New World Park hawker center.

This hawker center is newly built about 2years plus ago, switching all the road side stalls into a cleaner and brighter environment, also to project a healthy image. Few of the stalls are pretty famous. They used to be my childhood afternoon tea first option =D

Among those delicasies are ice kacang, cendol, chee cheong fun, bak chang, chai kuih and yam kueh. We need to save some space for early dinner, so we ordered only 3 bowls of cendol, 2 bowls of ice kacang, a fruit platter, some deep fried stuff (like loh bak but serve with peanute sauce), and yam kueh.

6.30pm - Dragon King Nyonya Food

This restaurant is the oldest nyonya food restaurant in Penang, existing for more than 30 years!!! Way over i've born. The first time I dine in this restaurant when i was like 10?? Then twice again in the past 5 years i think. This restaurant serves the most authentic baba nyonya cuisine. Homecook everyday by the tau-keh-nioh (wife of the owner), and helped by her aunt, which i think is about 60+ closing 70years old...which is stil so strong and healthy!!!

There's a Peranakan Mansion as Baba Nyonya museum in Penang.

We're suppose to tried out the pasembur there. But once looking at the crowd (it's ph today, so it's flooded with ppl...malays especially), we decided to enjoy the sea breeze...more like the land breeze cause it's the evening time. We say people playing kites (woooahhhh~~ been ages since i last play it....miss it~~~) and lots of photo shooting session =D

8.30pm - Haagen Dazs at Pulau Tikus
(not island of rat laaa...this place is not flooded with rats k ==')

Since everyone is getting warm at the seaside, so we decided to head to somewhere cooling to chill off. And since Im soooooo into ice cream, so come on...let's go HD~~

Suppose to order ice cream fondue...but since ALL of them tried that in the previous trip (sobbby T_T ), so we order 2 from the promotion borchure, and 2 new menu featuring the new apricote flavored ice cream.

10pm - Bayan Bay hawker centre

What's the look of a hawker centre at 10pm? Half emptied? 3/4 emptied? Or ALMOST emptied? NONONONONONO....its just stil so FULL HOUSE!!!!!!!!

I kinda like this hawker centre, apart from the limited parking spot, but the foodS here are awsomely heavenly delicieux~! Range from the usual local delights till the international spcialties...it's just CHEAP-FAST-GOOD!!

Among the GOOD ones are hokkien mee, curry mee, wan tan mee, kuey teow soup, char kuey teow (best laaa...but not opened today =='), ikan panggang (best of it - sting ray, squid, clam and lala, served with special dipping sauce), HK chee cheong fun, balacan fried rice with condiments, chinese pan cake with wide range of fillings, pizza, western food, loh bak and roasted chicken wing / drum. Alot kan =p

It all started out with me looking for a ball pump. I was so despo for it I asked all my friends who live nearby me and to no avail none of them have =.=. Damn sad

I was thinking should I? ....fck it la hantam oni I wan to play bball damn badly.

My first game of badminton after 2 years!!! Result? 3 days of muscle pain T_T Well it's a good game so i dont mind suffer abit..=D pss....lots of guy~ but tak cute ==" Monday Neighbour JiaLi's birthday on 2nd June, which is Tues, so bro decided to bake a cake for her. How sweet kan. It's his first time le.....It turn out to be a perfect success...well course la got a pro teaching him. *flick hair~* ehm ehm~ =p

Muscle pain all day...so facing camp all day ni =p

Tuesday

Directly at 12am, bro and i send the cake over. Suprise her with the cake while she's stil in her pajamas xD Along with the parents, we have some photo session (photo with them + bday gal purposly go change to take pic), bday song singing, cake cutting etc etc......MAKAN~

The mom made us some honey lemon drink, snack arround with some fruits and tid bits. Well of course the bday cake. That cake simply just pass everyone's taste! Its justso so fa-bu-las~ =D

Lesson learned:
1. NEVER buy skinny asparagus. U'll get a hell out of peeling them @@
2. Add more lemon juice to hollandaise. If not u'll taste only butter-ish.

Friday

Baked carrot cake (mom wanna try...which it turned out failed this time due to wrong measurement of oil T_T) and brownie for dinner...as dessert (recipe from lcb....frankly...to me....not so ncie =/ I'l try again next time to improve it).

Steamboat dinner with neighbour starting 8+pm. A range of fish/meatballs (as usual), fish (talapia i think), prawn, bean curd skin with/without filling, pork intestine (yark...=/ ) and lots of vege variety.

Bro and our neighbour kids - JiaLi and JiaJing - attended Cambridge English. So....Jiali started with..."eh how u pronounce Stupid correctly?" which turns out to be 'stiupid'. Bro tak puas hati....so he came out with a few more, such as "vegetable", "restaurant", "photographer" and "pronounciation". It's just so funny to see both of them fight to read it right xD

After some lmao session, here comes the brownie and shots of warm bailey. Oh yes...u heard me...WARM bailey!!!

Here's how to do it and drink it right:
1. Pour a shot of neat bailey into a shot glass.
2. Dip the glass 1/3 way in hot water to warm the bailey up, for about 1 minute or 2.
3. Take a (i wouldnt say mouthful...its hard to swallow) big sipping of it and hold it in ur mouth for...well 5-10sec depending how long can u last it.
4. Experience the aroma in ur mouth...with ur tongue....then swallow =DDD

What's the feel/sensation/experience???? Super tingling sensation on ur tongue..along with burning. Its not horrible at all..in fact....its some experience one would never get with any other liqueur. Feeling is hard to explain laaaa...

Go give it a try! Try it when u can lay ur hand on any bailey or i think any irish cream or coffee liqueur will do just good.

BDH31 Story.

What do you do when you have 5 hours break?

Some say go home sleep.

Some say go ta-kei.

Some say go library finish up some work and see first la.

Some go find their girlfriend ( hint hint )

Some just purely FFK.

While 10 other said GO MALACCA!!

O yes, we were not joking about it, we started our journey at about close to 1130 or 12. Took about an hour plus to reach Melaka and it wasnt a boring journey driving up thanks to walkie talkies brought by Randall. Saves phone credit as well as saves us from getting lost =p.

Two cars went for the trip, drove by Wayne and Randall.

Crapped alot along the way, from A - Z. From love stories to hamsap stories, From gheys to straights, from happyness to emoness, from durian smelling farts to even more durian smelling burps.

Pretty much a humor filled journey..hahaha.. =D

After an hour of crapping and finally getting pretty much really hungry oredi..we arrived at Melaka~

We came just to eat some Chicken Rice Ball and some Durian Cendol, however the chicken rice ball wasnt pretty good as what as I had expected, just so-so oni lor, but the waiting line to be seated for this coffee shop was pretty long so I supposed we assumed its good.

Meal was okay, but nothing too special. I think college chicken rice aso not to bad compared to this shop edi, but I liked the chilli paste, yum yum.

Rice Bola

It wasnt really filling at all to be honest, one plate only serves 5 of that rice balls and it was pretty small, I think I eat 10-15 oni baru puas lor, but 0.50cent for 1 ball extra, abit pricy leh.

After the meal, went cari for cendol. Walked for abit to find and in the end turned back to the first shop we saw @@.

Durian Cendol. 5.80, quite pricy but quite kao also. I like.

However the after taste damn strong. I still taste it now even after 7 hours already.

After Having our cendol and all, decided to head back. we WERE supposed to go back to college, but since we told ourselves go back also late, no point, we took a detour.

Guessing where?

Satay Kajang..wahahah..damn long never eat.

Mafia Boss KY..Damn yeng wei.

While waiting for Victor, since he lives in Kajang, decided to kacau him abit.

Ordered about 80 sticks of chicken and 40 sticks of beef satay. Alot leh, but just nice for a big group like us =p. Maybe some could have eaten more.

After the meal, headed back to college and finally home.

So moral of the story is, we had a 5 hour break, but which eventually turned out to be a half a day self proclaimed, went down to eat chicken rice ball, durian cendol and satay kajang.

Had a full day of crap talking during the journey, skipped class which we were supposed to be commis for seniors and most of all, had alot of fun = awesome. Hahaha...and now, pretty exhausted.

What happen when sleeping at 2am previous night and have no morning activities on the second day? Woke up at 2pm!!!! =DD It's been a habit since after graduate, or more like ever since young cause my parents dont usually wake me up early if there isnt anything special in the morning, like hiking or traveling..jealous? =p

So woke up...had brunch/lunch - leftover baked pasta and 'bak chang'. Well laze around and *skip skip skip* 6pm d @@ wokay....cooking time!!!

Today tried out mostly new recipe. Mom found a ricotta stuffed roast chicken for me to try out and I found choc mousse terine..which LOOKS nice..but end up....oh well...consider passed after so many failure in the past ><

Our neighbour came over for dessert and chit chatting session. Coffee fills the room. Lastly..here comes the chocs~ Finally get to indulged n to after we bnoght em back from langkawi last apr. Cointreau filling choc and cognac flaky choc. The later was way better~ With the strong liqueur from cognac...It's just so heavenly delicious~

Before i end this post...here's another thing to share. I've been to 3 of Jusco Member's Day sales this 2 months - 30th Apr (Qbay), 21th May (1U) and 29th May (Bm) - and lesson leaned? Go there early in the morning at 10am rather than at 6pm before the war really starts!!! Hell yeah the prices are cut up to 70% while another 10% will be added on certain items during the happy hour, about 7pm onwards. Its really a great time to shop..apart from the crowd which you have to squeez through. And it is just certainly fun to see how ppl can spend!!!

Cart loaded with cream creackers, milos, and duno what else...are we having food shortage soon? =/

Monday. Was Still pretty tired and exhausted from Sunday, and yet still had to wake up pretty early to send Sam to the bus station for her to head back. Had only about 5 hours or 4 hours of sleep after a pretty long day.

and yet, to be greeted with another long day. sigh~

Had fruit carving class, pretty much learning how to carve a fruit in the front of the house and not back of the house like all we DC's know how to do =p.

The techniques so carve were pretty much quite simple and not really very confusing or tough to do. Its just that the plating and the presenting is more important compared to actually carving really well.

Just to recap the previous days,

Had dinner over at Jon's place on Sunday. Went for an interview prior to the dinner at Elcerdo, quite a nice place, and just had a small ice breaking session with one of the chef and they said they'll get back to me by this week. So I wonder if im accepted hmm...

Reached Jon's place at about 6, dilly dally until 7+ then only started cooking. Yes cooking our own meal.

The reason we were slightly late? Ini dua la hahaha..

So Sweet

Just had a few simple items on the menu, chicken, salad, calamari, mash potatoes, bnb pudding and of course ice cream ( this one commercial wan xD)

Jon was in charge of the main course, Sherryna desserts and Sam and myself were to do the appetizers.

So Jon's prepared the chicken below

Stuffed with an orange on the butt, and roasted with mirepoix veggies.

and I thought Jon was gonna come up with some damn awesome marination orseasoning or sauce or something but instead...

My hopes were shattered when he revealed his secret recipe

Ready mix black pepper seasoning.

Aiyoooooooo, Straight away my heart fell down from my ribs.. literally Hahahah..kidding =p

Man, but it sure did taste good, so I recommend buying the brand shown above xD. Saves time also.

So weekly update to be done. Since someone is down here ive been lazy to update cause I wanna spend time with her only maaa hahaha. Starting off with

Monday

Had Soo Sian's marketing assestment, though open book, had to think for a bit to awnser the questions, but I scored relatively well with good remarks =D. Thought Id do somewhat bad, but the questions were really subjective so I awnsered them based on what I think on it.

Ms Uma, Managed to skip her dress code rules by wearing a T-Shirt, yey.

For this weeks pastry, all we did was tarts and more tarts. The class is like as though were just experimenting all on our own and the chef is just a statue there. She doesnt even teach us anything nor guide us in anyway regarding the recipes or methods etc etc.

Carlos's Meringue turned into sugar webs instead.

Supposingly to be lemon Meringue tart, but we got lazy for the meringue.

After class, Randall's birthday, as usual the ritual of throwing him into the pond, along with the leftover meringue tarts and eggs =p.

Rested a while, meet up with darling and headed home to prepare to go for Randall's birthday at Chillis. Had a great meal and lots of laughter with the group of the birthday boy, Cass, Hong, Carlos, Jyn, Nathan, Jerry, myself and darling.

Pretty much tired from the long day of work and fun. Was late for class =p but had nothing for english anyway. Boring class. Followed by marketing class again, (damn fast she mark paper) Just only did the assestment on Monday and in just hours she finish marking edi. Studied a lil for Pierre's Exam.

I find his question papers pretty amusing.

Nothing much, thought class was at 11, went late abit then decided to not go to class..see see really no class aiyooooo.

Late again, morning class, ugh. Somebody la =p.

Skip skip skip ( class talk, especially lisa yong)

Went for the french week event thingy. Saw a few boring sketches, horrible singing and finally

BDH 31 video clips, and the crowd went wild *clap clap* ( all wake up edi, Ngap!)

Sadly the funny ones were not played though, too much porno and gheyness. Watched several clips that were chosen, congrats to Jon for winning 2nd place =D.

Went to 1 U to catch Night in the Museum 2. Awesome stuff. Recommended. Sure LYAO wan hahha. Went to Italliannes for dinner, fillet mignon~ delicieux~

The grape "fruit" shake was nice too.

Walked around for abit, started to think why so many ppl in 1 U wan, reached Jusco and saw the war *J card Member day*. J card holders, im sure you know what I mean. Things were so cheap until that I think Sherryna will abandon her kitties just for the sales hahahah =D.

Managed to grab a few shirts, ties and a new slacks, totalling to a sum of only RM150 cheap cheap wo0t!.

Shopped until 12 midnight, q-ed for almost an hour for the redemption..bloody long line~.

Flew back home, studied french, sleep.

Friday

Come in the morning only, greeted with a bloody tough french exam paper, c'est tres difficie!

Law, as usual, and lastly kitchen. Went in without research or planning, SLAM time~

In the end had pretty much time to do quite a number of stuff, and still had extra time.

Stuffed chicken with rattatouile and blue cheese served with aglio olio pasta, oven dried tomato, glazed carrot and radish, zesty spinach, pumpkin coulis and supreme sauce.

Damn alot right? HAHA =D.

Marks were pretty good, taste were pretty good as well, looking at this was my first time using blue cheese in my cooking. Hantam mission achieved~

Seen Cheow asked me if ive did this menu before because he did not believe that I was a first timer, and when I awnsered him it was totally hantam case, he was speechless. O_O *copyright sherryna* (wahaha)

Ahhhh..French editing is over! Hardwork paid off, at least sleeping at 5 am was for some benefits. Roots were bitter but the fruits are sweet.

However I think the video didnt make much impact on the acting emotions being carried out, but still nevertheless it was a good job from everyone..proud of it, a la minute for the win! Will try to get to post the video up here, cept that the fact that its abit to freaking big with 120mb for a 8 minute clip.

Had a dota session after french class. 4 hours break, with DH winning both games, failed Steven. Sigh~

Followed by Mr.Murad's class, with role play class today. Trainer and trainee management thing. Trained on various different aspects of the service side.

Was going for futsal at 9-11, had bak kut teh on the way (which eventually came out forcefully, waste money oni) I am so not fit anymore and I was damn damn exhausted.

Here's the interesting part.

While on the way to the futsal court, was in the car with Randall and Carlos. We passed by the court but we didnt see the sign therefore we went pass through it two times. The second time I realized the sign and pointed out where the place was, the conversation was something like this.

A : EHH there the court!

R : Owhhh Okay Okay *starts making a U-Turn*

C : OI FCK WATCH OUT MOTOR MOTOR!!

R : WTFF!?

Before Randall actually realized it, I was already looking at the motor coming in the the side I was sitting on (was sitting behind) It all happened in a split second, the motorcyclist was coming through at around 30-40 kmh and he just rammed at the window and side door of where I was sitting. Something like the image below.

and bang, as he crashed into the window, I saw the window crack like about 5 inches away from my face, I immediately turned away my head to avoid the glass particles to fly to my face. I seriously thank god it was tempered glass, though I got just a few minor scratches I breathe my sigh of relieve I was still in a good condition.

The weird part was I was pretty calm at that moment, my heartbeat did not increase, but I was pretty much stunned abit.

and yea, as I expected, it most probably occured because of a relationship. I pity that girl, who had to just fall for a fcking jerk. 17 years of her life just gone down the drain with an asshole who obviously wont receive the punishment equal to her death.

I get provoked by this kind of acts and I condemn it to the max. I fcking hate jerks who kill their loved ones just because their relationship is over. Its obviously not something one should fcking do if he/she loves her partner very much.

Phew~ What a weekend. Loaded with assignments to hand in next week and assestments to study as well. Anyhow just a short update. Yet another kitchen class has passed. Did fairly better compared to the previous week even though was not really prepared and all.

Didnt do any research at all, just went into the kitchen and slam few items and voila!

Made a dish with the following items. Rack of Lamb with Persillade, Tomato Confit, Stewed Carrots, and Couscous served with the awesome curry flavoured sauce, which Lin made.

I think next week I shall pass on going to 7th floor, Im really really broked already. LOL..

and pretty much, it will be a very busy week ahead.

Phew~ Had a pretty much long day today thanks to French shooting. I envy those who could finish it in one day where esle my group have to take slowly day by day. Quite a tough job. Gotta keep the editing pace up as well, though im feeling kinda lazy sigh~~.

Main problem was Nathan, being our main character, who had to practice his french for a full 2 hours to get his tone, pronounciation all correct. He's quite slow on the language so it took a while.

Pretty much, after that was just shooting all the way.

Played pool with a certificate student earlier before lunch, was a tough challenge honestly, though we drew 2-2, by right he won cause we decided on best to 3 anyway. The irony is, I was observing his game yesterday, and was having the thought in my mind to challenge him but I didnt, and today he comes up to me and challenges me.

In my mind was like "Owh shit, was I that obvious??"

Played the first two rounds, was his warm up round where esle Ive already done mine on the snooker table. He Potted like crazy and my rythme was pretty bad. After he scored 2-0, I came back to equal it 2-2.

Hands was cold. My mind was trying so hard to focus. I knew it wasnt just a normal game, Its a friendly match play. I kan-chionged after I kena tapao-ed, but luckily manage to get back my strokes after the second game. STRESS AND KAN CHIONG TO THE MAX WEI!!

Couldnt finish the 5th round cause was already running short of time for class but I enjoyed it nevertheless =D.

Long hours, Long classes. Damn. 830 - 730pm today was more tiring than working 8 hours a day =p. Literally.

Must be the pool, 12 rounds in 1 hour half. Tiring~

Anyway, had a few number of classes today, and striked up a few funny things to give thought about. Particularly french.

For words like classique, magnifique, unique and so one, Its pronounced in French as eg: Clas-sik. The "que" would sound like a K, but if you think of it, putting aside the difference in language, then barbeque leh? Its pronounced barbe"Q" soooooo why not classi-Q Magnifi-Q and uni-Q?

Had pastry class at the end of the day. Made Creme Caramel (again), Creme Brulee (again), Passionfruit Bavarion (something new), and some pot the chocolate which seems like chocolate creme brulee to me following the recipe methods. Basically, an all custard day, eat until dont want to eat edi =/.

I think Im already okay and have settled down with most of the things happening around me. Im getting along well with other people and as well as those whom Ive newly met and stuff like that. Pretty much after I stood back on my feet, and I observed those around me, I find it that it wasnt only me that is suffering from this apparent "part of life" thing but also to those around me, some are those of I know, and some are not but the fact is, there's a lot of emo people around lately. Alot have trouble to cope with the coming subjects of the degree programme, some have relationship problems, some social problems here and there.

Thank goodness Ive gotten rid of it. Thanks to my friends for support, you know who you are. Putting that aside, pool helped me get over some other things as well. The concentration of the game, being immersed in it, being totally ignorant of the surroundings and loving the game, has done so much for me in terms of not letting my mind think of unwanted stuff. Ive greatly improved on my skills and Im loving the game to bits. Thing is, personal equipments are rather pricy, save save save!!

Apparently, I started back this blog just because now I really do have the time, and Ive been bored out of the games I play, which cuts back alot on the time spend sitting on the pc just playing it, which allows me to find blogging pretty amusing and least a way to spend a bit of my time. If I so happen to abandon this blog again like my 3 or 4 old blogs (lol), I cannot guarentee I wont do it again. I know myself. Enjoy.
